MY STORY

How we started

​

Hi, my name is Jennifer. A few years back my brother got married, and much to his and his wife's surprise their wedding cake turned out to be fake. I felt so bad for them! Especially her, after all isn't it every bride's right to cut her wedding cake and have it shoved into her face! So I decided that I would make them a real wedding cake, for their open house. No, I had never done anything like it before, and looking back I think I was a little crazy. I researched online and figured it out, and after one practice I was able to make what I think was a beautiful wedding cake, which yes they cut and shoved into each other's mouths. I started volunteering to make cakes for any and everything. Whenever I could I make a cake. A few months after that my own sister asked if I would make cupcakes for her wedding reception. I said sure, even though I really wanted to make her cake. Then as I started making them I realized I had been missing the best part of baking. CUPCAKES!!! How did I not know how wonderful cupcakes are. I love them. If I could I would make them all the time. I love trying new recipes, and flavors. I love trying new icing styles, and toppers. I love cupcakes! So after a couple of years of volunteering to make cupcakes I decided to start really making them, so here we are.​ All of our cupcakes are made fresh from scratch in my own private kitchen.



​A Little About Our Name

My beautiful daughter is my inspiration for our name. Her middle name is Che' (pronounced Shay). When I first started making cupcakes she would sit and watch the whole process, she can now tell you how to make cupcakes. When we were doing nothing she would pop in and ask, hey when are we making cupcakes. She fell in love with them as much as I did. So I decided to name my cakes after her. The Dream comes from all the cupcakes we get to dream up together!
